Join us as we cleanup the creek and community areas of Natividad Creek Park. We will be picking up trash, pulling weeds, trimming overgrown shrubs, and helping in the community garden. Marina Dunes Preserve Planting Event
Join us at the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District’s Marina Dunes Preserve. We will be planting native dune plants in critical habitat for the Smith’s Blue Butterfly. This is an event suitable for the whole family, snacks, tools, and gloves will be provided.Moderate hiking over sand dunes will be required to reach the restoration site, walking some distance through loose sand over steep dunes.. Join us as we pair up with our friends at Central Coast Wetlands Group to restore critical dune habitat at Zmudowski State Beach in Moss Landing. This is a family friendly event.

Take Struve Road and turn to Giberson Road. Please note that this beach is located at the end of adirt agricultural road and may be slippery when wet. Also be aware that parking at this location is extremely limited, please carpool when possible. If the parking lot is full, please park along Giberson Road leading into the parking lot.

CANCELLED:Veterans Memorial Park Service Event Salinas
UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO HEAVY RAIN FORECAST, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED! Join us as we clean up Veterans Memorial Park and Gabilan Creek. The Gabilan flows through this park and eventually reaches the Monterey Bay. Let’s keep it clean for our community and the watershed! This is a family friendly event. Monterey Bay Half Marathon Service Event
HSP is looking for volunteers on Sunday, November 9 (11:30-3:00) to help sort trash/recyclables/compostables from the hundreds of bags of waste that is generated by the Monterey Bay Half Marathon. HSP will receive a donation for every volunteer that helps with this service project. Sign up here to register for this opportunity (Password HSP).
